KIA WIA Geopin
KIA WIA stands for Killed in Action, Wounded in Action. The KIA WIA organization provided support for soldiers and their families who were wounded or killed while serving in action. This organization is now disbanded since the military started their own program to provide the same support.
KIA WIA used their funds to support and ease the burdens incurred with the death or traumatic injury of a service member in each of the four branches of the United States military, primarily the soldiers of the US Army Special Forces. They support these soldiers and their families by placing them in touch with the appropriate organization or agency for their specific needs. They also provided financial assistance where and when needed.
