SAFLIP Archival Coin Flip 2x2, fits up to 1.5" diameter coins; - 10 pack

If you want to protect your coins for years to come at a low cost, then these SAFLIP coin flips are for you. Use these SAFLIP coin flips to protect your investment! This is the same storage method uses to protect our large inventory of sample coins.

These SAFLIP coin flips come in a pack of 10 flips and have two pouches (one on each side).  We call them 1.5" x 1.5" so people know the maximum size coin that it can hold, but their actual name is 2x2 SAFLIPS.

The 1.5" SAFLIP flips fit up to 1.5" diameter coins.  Total exterior dimensions of these coin flips are 2" x 4" when opened. When folded, each of the 2 pouches per flip has exterior dimensions of 2"x2". However, since the heat sealed edges take up some of the room in the pouch, we have named these for the size coins that most military, business, commemorative, geocoins, and currency (numismatic) coins will fit into.

These 1.5" SAFLIPS fit securely in our Red 1.5" Coin Storage Boxes, and you can label your coins in the SAFLIPS using our archival quality 1.5" size card inserts.

These coin pouches are double sided and made of polyethelyne teraphalate. They are the highest quality polyethelyne teraphalate coin flip on the market and are used for archival storage. They do not contain any additives that may corrode or cloud your coin surfaces.

Polyethelyne teraphalate coin flips can be brittle and is not recommend for frequent handling.  While vinyl coin pouches are stronger than polyethelyne teraphalate, vinyl is not recommended for long term storage due to the possibility of corrosion and clouding caused by chemicals used to make vinyl.

From years of experience, we have found that flips and boxes are the most economical and durable way of storing your coins. Album binders tear at the hinges and sleeve inserts end up tearing at the seams from the weight of the coins. The boxes and flips also take up less room than binders and store firmly instead of sliding around like binders do. In the long run, flips and boxes will cost you far less than binders and sleeves not only in initial costs, but also in replacing broken binders and torn sleeves.
