North Carolina Micro geocoin

You get two micro coins in this set: polished gold and polished nickel. That's two trackable coins for a total of $XXXX. They first appeared on September 23rd at the NCGO Fall Fling event / GCWHCE. Public sales then started the week after the event. This coin was designed by two North Carolina geocachers through a NCGO design contest. A portion of the proceeds from the sales is donated to NCgeocachers.org. The design winners were awarded free coins. The front shows the state flag colors and the back has a cardinal as the state bird. The coin is 19mm in diameter (same size as a penny) and can fit into many types of micro containers.
