Pin styles:
Take a look at these different styles we have available for you. We have many more options not listed here. Contact us for more information and a quote.

Cloisonné color fill:
Cloisonné was the original color fill used in jewelry and pins for thousands of years. Perfected by the Chinese over the years, this is the most durable coloring available. If you are having a jewelry type item made, or your item is being applied in high wear situations, then cloisonné is your answer.

Imitation Hard enamel color fill:
Don't let the name fool you; this is a lower cost alternative to Cloisonné. The word imitation is used since it is an imitation compared to the cloisonné color fill. It is still durable, but not as hard as Cloisonné. The benefit of imitation hard enamel is you get a similar smooth look of cloisonné, and a broader spectrum of colors which we can Pantone color match to your specifications.

Soft Enamel color fill:
This coloring effect is great for designs that have 3-D images, or where you want people to feel the texture of the pin. It is a thin layer of paint applied to the recessed areas of the pin and comes at a lower cost than the hard enamels.

Die-Struck:
All of the pin styles above are made with die struck metal; but these pictures provide you with an idea of how you can create a more varied look of depth by coloring only some areas of the pin, or using no color at all:

Photo Etched: This is the most popular method of pin manufacturing. It allows for thinner lines and more detail. It is also a low cost alternative to the die struck methods. All of our pricing includes epoxy coating covering the photo etched pins for a smooth clean look. We can also discount your order if you do not want epoxy, but we highly recommend it on most photo etched pins to give the highest quality look.

Offset printing, Silkscreen, and Photo Images:
These are the best methods for replicating detailed logos, product images, and allowing for small text. Not only can they provide exacting detail, but are also the most cost effective process for large orders. Our pricing also includes epoxy coating for the ultimate protection and quality of your images and to give the pin an effect of depth.
